Description
W211 Power Controllers (1 kW to 400 kW)
Each unit can operate with either Vdc or Vac logic control signals. Conduction begins at the first zero crossing of the load voltage
once the control signal is applied, and turns off at the first zero crossing of the load current when the signal is removed.
Three-phase load management can be achieved using two or three W211 controllers connected in series and triggered in parallel.
Every model features a logic input for disabling the power controller or disconnecting the load supply when required.
For demanding or safety-critical applications, several advanced options are available. The RPC option
(“Load Control”) monitors and detects partial load failures or interruptions, displaying an LED alarm on the front panel and
providing a relay output. The DTC option offers SCR fault diagnostics and identifies both short-circuit
conditions and complete load current loss.
Another protection system, the DE option (“Electronic Cut-off”), safeguards the controller against temporary
overcurrent conditions exceeding approximately 13 times the nominal current. When triggered, this circuit disables the
power supply, activates an alarm relay (shared with the RPC function), and allows manual reset using a front-mounted pushbutton.
The W211 controllers are designed to maintain rated current and voltage at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C,
and can operate safely within a -5 °C to 60 °C temperature range.
The 250A and 600A models are equipped with an internal fuse and a digital output for fuse status monitoring.
Signal wiring is simplified through plug-in connectors for fast installation.
Depending on the current rating, units can be DIN-rail mounted or, for 250A and above, mounted directly on the panel.
