Description

40T48 Temperature Indicator – Configurable Input / Alarm Unit

Microprocessor-based indicator in 48x48 mm (1/16 DIN) format, manufactured using SMT.
The instrument has a Lexan membrane faceplate (IP65) with 3 keys, a 4-digit display, and 3 LED indicators for output statuses.
The input signal can be selected from a wide range of sensors:
  • Thermocouples: J, K, R, S, T, B, E, N, L GOST, U, G, D, C
  • Resistance thermometers: Pt100, Pt100J (2 / 3 wire)
  • PTC and NTC thermistors
  • Linear inputs: 0–60 / 12–60 mV, 0–20 / 4–20 mA, 0–10 / 2–10, 0–5 / 1–5, 0–1 / 0, 2–1 V
Selection is made using the faceplate keys and correct input terminals.
No external shunt or adapter is required.
A digital input (24Vdc/4mA or 24Vdc/5mA) is available for resetting, hold, flash, peak handling, or releasing latch.
The instrument has up to 4 outputs, which can be mechanical relays (5A / 250V) or logic outputs (24V ±10%, 10Vmin / 20mA).
One output of 4–20 mA (max. 500 Ω) is available for retransmitting the measured input signal.
Retransmission output, digital input, and third output are alternatives.
A triac output can be fitted to drive resistive loads up to 1A at 240V.
Programming is simplified by grouping parameters in function blocks (CFG for alarm hysteresis, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs) and a simplified data entry menu.
Configuration can be further simplified using the PC programming kit (connection cable + Windows menu guide, see technical data).
A configurable personal software protection code (password protection) can restrict editing and display of configuration parameters.
