Description
These microprocessor controllers are available in 48x96 mm (1/8 DIN) format for the 1200 model and 96x96 mm (1/4 DIN) format for the 1300 model, built using advanced SMT technology.
The user interface is fully integrated and protected by a Lexan membrane, ensuring an IP65-rated front panel.
It includes 4 push-buttons, two 4-digit green LED displays, 4 red LEDs for relay or logic outputs, and 3 programmable LEDs to indicate various operational states.
The primary input accepts a wide range of signals—thermocouples, resistance thermometers, thermistors, and standardized linear inputs—with the option to configure custom linearization directly from the front panel. No external adapters or shunts are needed.
An auxiliary analog input for a current transformer is provided. Through the digital input, users can select one of two setpoints, switch between Manual and Automatic mode, reset alarms, or activate the hold function.
The controller supports up to 4 outputs: relay (5A, 250VAC/30VDC, cosφ = 1) or logic (24V ±10%, 10V min at 20mA).
An analog output, available in voltage or current, can be assigned to any function from the front panel. Outputs can reflect control/alarm states, digital inputs, process variables, setpoints, deviations, alarms, or values received via serial communication.
A 24VDC output (30mA max) is also available to power external transmitters.
Serial communication can be configured via Current Loop or RS485 using the MODBUS RTU protocol at speeds up to 19200 baud. Parameter programming is organized in function blocks (CFG for control, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs) for simplicity.
The instrument automatically displays only the relevant parameters according to its hardware configuration.
An "EASY" configuration mode is available, requiring only a few key parameters. Simply set the setpoint and alarms, then press the self-tuning button.
For further ease, a PC programming kit (cable + Windows-based guided software, see Technical Data code WINSTRUM) can be used.
