Microprocessor controller in 48x48 mm (1/16 DIN) format, manufactured with SMT technology.
The device features a complete operator interface, protected by a Lexan® membrane for IP65 frontal protection. It includes 4 keys, a 4-digit display, 2 indicator LEDs for the 400 model, 3 indicator LEDs for the 401 model, plus a 3-segment LED bar graph.
The main input is universal, allowing connection to a variety of sensors:

• Thermocouples: types J, K, R, S, T, B, E, N
• 3-wire PT100 resistance thermometer
• PTC thermistor
• Linear signals: 0–60 mV, 12–60 mV, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, 2–10 V

Input type is selectable via the front keys, with no need for external shunts or adapters.
The 401 model also supports an auxiliary input for a 50 mA AC current transformer to monitor load current, with optional alarm setup to detect potential load faults.
The outputs include 2 (3 for 401 model) relay outputs (5 A / 250 VAC, cosφ=1) or static outputs (10 Vdc / 30 mA), configurable for Heat, Cool, or combined Heat/Cool functions and/or alarm signaling.
Programming is simplified through function block grouping (CFG for control, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs, etc.) and a simplified menu for frequently used parameters. A PC programming kit (Windows) with connection cable is also available (see technical data cod. 80021).
A configurable software protection code allows limiting parameter editing and viewing access.
